Effects depends more about the MIDI Synthesizer.
on current development version, there are support for Reverb, Chorus, Phaser and Tremolo. but those effects may only work if your output synth support them.
For other effects it's more hard because MIDI Specification don't support them. so it's not easy make something and make it work on all external synths

There are 5 effects in midi specification. Why celeste depth isn't supported by tuxguitar?

Is there like a flanger, chorus, wah, extra distortion or anything? That would be a lot cooler.
