Hi, I just wanted to ask for the precompiled deb package for ubuntu/amd64. It would be very nice if we also could benefit from deb packages, thanks!

I'd like to second this motion. I've just bought a new 64bit PC (Ubuntu 7.10 64bit installed), and I can't get TuxGuitar running. The program itself works, but no sound. I get 'Cannot load Java sound api' when I open Tux, even though I have all the Java plugins installed.

The .deb package will not "magically" give sound to your PC.
