I would love to be able to make a line break, so i can write exercises more easily. Currently, i have to export as a PDF, import that into a graphics app, chop it up, and re-save in the graphics app. Too many steps! I've also seen other sites which obviously use TuxGuitar - they have a separate PDF file for every single little practice phrase.
It would only have to be applicable to page mode, since linear mode wouldn't make sense anyway.

In fact, since my graphics app doesn't support importing PDF files, i have to do even worse - take a screen grab! THEN chop it up and rearrange it, etc. I lose valuable resolution, which makes it look awful in print.

Oh, and it would be nice to be able to change from a horizontal/landscape layout to a vertical one, with the page longer than it is wide.

In that case i suggest you export to lilypond instead of PDF. with lilypond you can manage the page layout and line breaks, to then export it o a very nice PDF file..
