Subject Double uninstall entry   Post Reply Post New Topic

When I installed TG 1.0 RC3 Over TG 1.0 RC2, The install process created another uninstall entry on the "Progaram and futures", Instaed of replacing the old one.

TuxGuitar releases try to be independant packages.
Install one version over other (with the free installers we have), will not uninstall previous version.. it just override the files.
but if previous version have different file/folder names.. that file/folders will "keep" on your system. ( and will not uninstalled with the newest uninstaller )
Personally, i never liked that.
When i uninstall an application, i want uninstall "ALL" components.
The only thing what will keep on your system, is the user configuration files.
