I can't get the binary installer to run. It gives me a Java Runtime Environment not found error. I have tried pointing JAVA_HOME to my various jvm installations (I have java-1.5.0-gcj, java-1.7.0-iced-tea, jre-1.5.0 etc.), but no dice.

Thanks

I'm not sure why it happen. the BitRock installer is a third party software so i'm not an expert about it.
but however, the installer only extract the binary files on the selected folder.
you can download the .tar.gz file, and manually extract the files.

but, 0.9.1 version of tuxguitar needs a sun version of java, it don't works under GCJ, and can work ( but without sound ) under itedtea.
