Subject insert and delete on macbook keyboard   Post Reply Post New Topic

I have a macbook, and as all mac keyboards seem to miss delete/insert keys, I can't delete a beat of insert a new beat. Does anybody know a solution?

with delete i mean removing the note and shifting all notes to the right of it one beat to the left

with insert i mean shifting notes to the right so you can put a new note in between 2 existing notes

the application autocomplete the rest/silences.. it means that you can't have an empty measure. if you remove a quarter beat, a new will created.
if you really want to have 1 less beat.. you have to change the timesignature of your measure.
i mean, if you have a 4/4 time signature, you will have 4 quarter beats.. now if you set it to 3/4, you are going to have 3 quarter beats.
