ive made this cool song on tux guitar and want to play it in windows media player so i can send it to other people but it wont let me play it in windows media player , it says the file is corrupted any ideas on what to do ?

try export it to MIDI. from the tuxguitar's menu "File -> Export -> Export MIDI"

then, you should to be able to open the MIDI file, in windows media player.
