Hey guys.
I've been TuxGuitar for quite a while now, but recently an error just popped up and now it won't start anymore.
It says
Could not find the main class org/herac/tuxguitar/gui/TGMain
I don't think I upgraded the version manually or anything else. What happened?
I really need this great program, any help is and will be appreciated.

It seems that tuxguitar.jar ( or class folder ) isn't at java classpath.
how did you installed tuxguitar ? i mean, where did you get the package from ? or could you show me the launcher script ?

I just typed in 'tuxguitar download' in Google and took the first one from softonic.
How do I get the launcher script?

Well i don't have idea what softonic is redistributing or what version.
but let's start for telling us what Operating system do you have.. since it's different if you have GNU/Linux, Windows or Mac OS X

hmm from windows version, it sound me to bug with the tuxguitar.exe launcher..
why don't you try download the latest version ? ( i suggest you the Jet release ) since it would be very easier than try to help you with a package provided by third party distributors.
Just make sure you uninstall the old version before you install the newone.
