Hi, when i open a gp file at random moments it gets stuck and sustains the note... it may sound weird but its really annoying me... im running Windows XP Pro service pack 2... somehow i think it MIGHT be the pc its self but im doubting so i really hope you can give me a solution... great program btw i recomended it to all my friends :)

It could be caused by the sequencer.. or by the midi port..
what do you have selected in tuxguitar's settings ?
See at: Tools -> Settings, in Sound section.

Hi, thanks for the answer.
I have selected (note: i have never modified it)
- TuxGuitar Sequencer
- Microsoft Midi (or something like that)

You could try modifyng these settings (first the sequecer, then the midi port) to see where is/was the problem.
I mean, to see if it happens allways, or only with one of these options.
Also, is there any special condition you see when it happens?
i was noticed about similar problem when a "dead note" chord uses stroke up/down. could it be same problem?
