Hi,
first so many thanks for Tuxguitar!
Just upgraded from 1.1 to 1.2 on W7RC-x64. Everything works fine so far but MIDI files I could open and play correctly in TG 1.1 are said to be incoorect in 1.2. Any suggestions?

Coul you paste me the exactly error message that tuxguitar throws you ?

Cannot Open: file:/C:/Users/nikolaus/Desktop/chpn_op23.mid
I could also send the .mid if you want

It seems that you are trying to open as a TG file.
you have to use "import" way.
Go to menu "File -> Import -> Import MIDI"
If you would using import MIDI, the error should says "Cannot Import [file]".. but it says that can't "open" instead.
