hi,
in bass clef I can't use notes lower than 'e'. Can somebody tell me how I can do that?

You need to change the tablature strings tuning.

To from menu "Track -> Properties" ( or make 2 clicks to the track name on the footer table )
and you'll see a window where you can change the strings count/tuning

Why do I also have to shift the tuning up and the offset down for each of the bass partitions I open in tuxguitar? I don't have to when I use guitar pro.
