I have added a percussion track to a song. After that I have edited a single measure of that percussion track.
What I would like to do next, is to have that same measure repeat for the entire song (For training purposes only). How can I either
1) Copy that single measure from the percussion track to all other measures within the percussion track
or
2) Cause that single measure from the percussion track only, to repeat
Thanks
Jon

Hi,
there is no way to copy 1 measure and paste it to "all others" in one step..
if you do that, you'll need to paste it so many times as measures you have.
What you can do, if it's for training only, is add a
repeat open, and repeat close ( x100 ) to this measure
see on menu Composition.
so it will not apply to the full song, but if you play this measure, it will be played 100 times.

How can you get those repeats to apply only to the percussion track and not to the other tracks? I would like the other tracks to continue to run while this one is repeating. Seems like this would go against how this tool is written though, so it is probably not possible.

Oh, no.. if you want repeat track only it's not possible with music repeats.
to do this you need to copy the measure and paste it one by one.
i suggest you create a new Percussion track (and just mute original track)
then copy the measure and paste it on the new track (select "in current measure" option) some times.
once you pasted it some times, try copy it again from 0 to (number of pastes)
then paste again some times..
the difference would be than the second copy will paste more measures for each click.

Click on view menu. Click Mixer. You can mute the track which you want to. Ah, here is something where GP is a bit better. The muting and soloing for GP is easier than this. Surely the developers will make it better!

Go to "View -> Show Mixer" (or click the toolbar button)
and there you'll see options to set mute/solo, change volume, etc..

Ok. I have an original composition. I muted track 1 and 2 which contain two guitar tracks. I then created a percussion track and used the matrix tool to create a percussion measure. After creating that one percussion measure, I then repeatedly copied that measure to subsequent measures in the percussion track. When I unmuted tracks 1 and 2, the measures in those tracks were all repeated as the percussion track was.
Is there a way for me to simply replicate measures within a single track without having it affect the other tracks?
Thanks,
Jon

You can copy/paste measures from a single track
if when you "copy" the measure you make sure that "All Tracks" is not checked.
So if you copy a measure without "All Tracks" you are only copying measure from selecting track, and you will able to paste it only on 1 track instead of all.
With this way you'll able to make your copy/paste without modify other tracks.
other important thing is that when you "paste", do it on "current measure"
if you do it on a new measure, this new measure will be created for all tracks.
