it seems that a lot of problems could be solved better if it was possible to select more than one note at a time - i.e. for deleting several notes at a time/copying and pasting multiple bars; and for speed training loops.
this seems like a pretty obvious feature - will it be around any time soon?
p.s. It would also be nice to select parts in the "browser" at the bottom.

One of the most annoying things about tuxguitar. I'm used to this (rather implicit) feature from guitarPro and it really hinders my efficiency.

Hey all, please understand something.
One thing is to select multiple notes and another thing what you will do with that.
There is no a training range option yet (it's planned for the future).
So if tuxguitar would have multiple note selection, you still would not be able to play a selected part of the song.
You would not be able to copy single notes, because this feature isn't supported.
Make a mouse selection, is something very easy to do.
but the features that you'll do with this selection needs be done too. the mouse selection is not a magic thing.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I'm new to TuxGuitar and although it is a great program, not being able to select and manipulate multiple notes is such a hindrance that I don't know if I'll continue using it.
Personally, I mainly need this feature to manipulate dynamics.
It would be nice to see better support for crescendo and diminuendo as well.
