Is there a way to make that percussive acoustic slap on the strings or to strum completely muted strings? I am a percussive player, and I want a way to record my works on "paper." I have found the palm mute, ghost note, and grace note functions, but those all put some tone into the sound. Thanks for any help you can give me on this.
You can get a percussive sound by putting a "Dead Note" (menu path Beat/Effects) on the tab line (string) you want to mute. Shortcut is just to enter x, instead of a fret number, in the tab.
