TuxGuitar guitar sounds like piano

Using ubuntu 11.04 and couldnt get the sound to work at first. downloaded java sound api and not i get output but everything is piano. Kind of funny to hear free bird played all in piano but i would really appreciate some help on this.

I have the same problem. I tried installing some soundbank-mid.gm to imporve the sound...but it didn't work.
