I'm having problems fitting my notes into the measures!
Let me exaplain. If my time signature is 2/4 and I want my bass white note to last for the complete measure, how do I fit in the other notes.
Example below:

Put the other notes into the second voice. In your toolbar there should be two buttons labeled 1 and 2. Use those to switch between the two voices.
