Subject change instrument of cloned track   Post Reply Post New Topic

Hiya,
I just started using tux guitar because I had a song in my head that i wanted to write down before i forget it :D
Now i cloned a track because the notes were similar and i just changed a few afterwards but they should be different instruments. But when I change the instrument of one track it changes the instrument of the cloned one as well.

How do I just change one of the tracks??
Please help :D

Open the Mixer ( View -> Show Mixer ), and make sure both tracks are using different MIDI channels. ( these drop down boxes)
As default a cloned track will linke same MIDI channel as the original one.
