hmm i'm not sure if understand..
couldn't you export to lilypond ? or you don't know how to use the exported file ?
So, to export the file, you only have to go to menu "File -> Export -> Export Lilypond" ..
If you don't have idea what to do later, so we have to start saying what lilypond is.. but it will be better if you take a look yourself:

you have to download/install lilypond for your OS ( what OS do you have ? ) :
http://lilypond.org/install/
then you'll be able to convert the .ly files to very nice PDF files..
to help here, you have to tell me what operating system do you have.
