Subject convert batch .tg to .mid. Any plugin writers?   Post Reply Post New Topic

I want to export about 20 midi files(and more in the future), but don't want to go
open
file > export
ok transpose
save

could someone write a plugin that could speed up the process? I don't think it would take too long. Would it be just a few function calls?

All it would have to do is open the dialog box, let me choose a .tg file. then it would auto export with a transpose of 0 and the same filename, but with .mid. Then go back to the open dialog to repeat. When cancel is choosen on the dialog box, the plugin exits.

I would also like to know how to compile the plugin.
Thank you. It would save me a lot of time.

Sorry, tuxGuitar seems to already have a batch converter. It was hidden.
I was looking for a few keyboard shortcuts and at the top of the list was "file format batch converter".
I looked through the menus and found the batch converter under tools.

I thought it would have been in the file menu.

Thanks TG team. You have just saved me LOADS of time.
It would be nice if the batch converter was also in the file menu.
