Subject how to edit bar signs?   Post Reply Post New Topic

how to edit the bar/measure sign? I faced the problem that in a 4/4 song I got 3 quarter notes to start the song, and the program sets the measures wrong.

Go to menu "Composition -> Time Signature" and set it to 3/4

The song is in 4/4, but has three quartes to start and one quarter at the end of the song. Unfortunately, I don't know the english expression for that ... found: upbeat is the word. How to notate an upbeat?

If i understand, i also don't know the english word..
you mean, those songs that don't start with the timesignature completed..
e.g: 4/4 -> 1 beat | 4 beats | 4 beats

If this is what you ask, tuxguitar don't supports it..
but, you can just add rest beats before start. and you'll get same sound
