I like to know where is the reason to use this program, and not use others like Kguitar.

In my opinion Tuxguitar is a good alternative, good perfomance, stability, etc.
I think that tux guitar will be better than guitar Pro! :D
Thanks to Julian and developers.

Hola,

Kguitar/Ktabedit is for KDE only. I try to test Ktabedit... omg, I got only problems when compilating !!!

I use Tuxguitar cause it's the best for linux ! And maybe one day it will be the best under windows too ! :)

good perfomance <==

err, I don't think so ! Using java involve to launch it when using tuxguitar, and JAVA use too much resssources (about 50MB of ram).

So, on my light PC (PIII 533Mhz, 192Mo, Geforce DDR), we can say it's "just, just" : I have to desactivate some function like "multi-track", or "note display". Even with that, it don't runs fully !! But it's still better than nothing ;) ;) ;)

I use this for our band 'Silver Street'. Just started using this to fill in the days when we can't meet for songwriting sessions. I don't actually have the foggiest how to use it, so if anyone would like to enlighten me, please mail me on greebogresh@hotmail.com.

Many Thankyous'

Rich
