Graphical aspect of tablature

Hi!
In this screen shot,
http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/rd.php/gallery/show_picture.do?galid=1&picid=47
tablature look very nice. However, when I try to write one by my self using tuxguitar 1.2, it looks like this picture:
The stems are not long enough and they are only visible at the bottom of the staff.

The gallery screenshots, are from an older version (i think it was 1.1)
current version displays the stems out of the tablature, to make it different of the second voice ( that will be displayed at the top )
otherwise, when you have 2 voices, the stems make conflicts.
